Krzysztof Czaplewski is the president of the International Association of Institutes of Navigation (IAIN). He once served as the president of the Polish Navigation Forum (PNF), member of the International Advisory Board of the Alexandria PNT Foundation (U.S.), and the chair of the Council of the European Group of Institutes of Navigation (EUGIN). In 2023, he was awarded the academic title of Professor of Civil Engineering as well as Transport Engineering & Technical Sciences by Andrzej Duda, the President of the Republic of Poland.
